Laurentiu Matei

After leading the Software Development – Operations department at eMAG for 6 years, Laurentiu had the chance in 2020 to get back to his university passion for artificial intelligence and is now director of Business Intelligence in the e-commerce company. He embarked on a mission to modernize the data landscape in eMAG, setting the data free from report siloes in order to be used in data science, ad-hoc analysis, and as input in applications.
