Biography
With almost 10 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, Viorel’s interests shifted toward big data projects, starting 2019. His current focus is to deliver reliable, scalable, fault-tolerant, and efficient solutions on-premise or in the cloud, utilizing big data technologies and container orchestration tools such as Hortonworks, Spark, Cassandra, Kafka, and Kubernetes. Viorel has extensive experience implementing data pipelines, highly scalable streaming applications using big data technologies and automating infrastructure using DevOps practices and tools. He holds multiple certifications, including Apache Cassandra 3.x Developer Associate (DataStax), Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer, Talend Data Integration and Talend Big Data.
