With over 7 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, Viorel’s interests shifted toward big data projects over the past couple of years. His current focus is to deliver reliable, scalable, fault-tolerant, and efficient solutions on-premise or in the cloud, using big data technologies such as Hortonworks, Spark, Cassandra, and Kafka. Viorel has extensive experience in implementing data pipelines and highly scalable streaming applications and holds multiple certifications, including Apache Cassandra 3.x Developer Associate (DataStax) and Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer.
