Biography
Tobias Margarit is Managing Director of diconium in Romania. Product engineering, Data & AI and Cyber Security are driving Tobi’s professional career like every first day since 2004. As IT & Data forensic leader he set-up several data & tech organizations like diconium data GmbH, Digital Business at Audi AG, and Business Intelligence at FAW-VW successfully.
As a cultural scientist, he enriches his tech leader expertise in diverse hemispheres: China at Audi, US at Porsche, Netherlands and Latin America during academia. And today, Romania – the tech heart of Eastern Europe.
Together with 120 techies from product engineering, cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence, and cyber security he is very passioned about the symbiosis of hardware and software engineering in several industries – be it the software-defined vehicle in mobility, smart factories in industry, predictive retailing, or dynamic pricing in finance.
