Biography
Ioana Teoc is Director of Engineering at Worldpay UK, where she leads the software development division for Billing and Funding. She has extensive experience modernizing business-critical applications, replacing legacy batch processing systems with scalable solutions built with Java and Apache Spark. Over the past three years, she has led the migration of these workloads to AWS EMR Serverless, improving scalability, operational efficiency, and reliability. Her focus is on performance-driven design of scalable data processing systems, distributed batch processing, Data Lake, and related emerging technologies.
