Biography
Georgiana Conete is Data Platform Manager at eMAG, leading the team that builds and operates the group’s Cloudera platform – the services, tooling and guardrails that eMAG’s data engineers work on top of. With 18+ years in data platform architecture and global BI, including 14 at Oracle, her focus is making the platform secure by construction rather than by policy: access control, PII masking and lineage built into the services themselves, and now extended to an MCP layer that lets AI agents query Impala safely.
