Gentiana Curculescu

Gentiana Curculescu is the IT Area Lead of Global Data Services at ING Tech Romania. She manages BizDevOps teams who are responsible for translating the ING global data strategy and data management architectural requirements into technology choices and services. Joining ING Tech Romania in 2016 as one of the first engineers in the Data Management area, she had an impressive journey, from being one of the pioneers of the Data Lake Foundation, to being one of the stream leads of the Hybrid Cloud Data Platform as a Service.

Gentiana’s professional passions arise from different areas; the information architecture was always a ‘what if’ field for her, but she also gets stimulated by the actual execution phase, where one must make things happen. She equally enjoys architecture, design, delivery, and management activities at ING Tech Romania, regardless of the official role.
