Eugene Klyuchnikov

Eugene is a Principal Data Platform Engineer at Zalando, specializing in large-scale distributed architectures, developer experience, and AI-accelerated data engineering. With a strong track record in building systems that process billions of daily events, he focuses on solving complex organizational and architectural challenges across autonomous domains. Recently, he co-led the platform enablement that transitioned ~100 engineering teams to a modern lakehouse architecture and a unified event-tracking platform. He is passionate about pragmatic data architecture, automated governance, and eliminating organizational tech debt.
