Biography
Cristina Gurguta is an AI strategy and industrial transformation leader, currently Associate Partner and Director of Research & Innovation at INSUS. She works with energy-intensive industries to turn complex operational data into AI-assisted decisions that improve energy efficiency, quality, cost, and sustainability, without disrupting existing plant operations.
Over a 15+ year career across data science, ML, MLOps, and AI adoption, Cristina has worked with organizations including Holcim, Dell, Deutsche Telekom, and Indeed. She advocates for practical industrial AI: machine learning to understand process behaviour, optimization to identify better trade-offs, GenAI to make operational knowledge usable, and experts in control of the final decision.
