AI Adoption: 3 Years Later. Lessons From the Field. Planning, Execution, Distribution
We’ve moved from the “wow” of AI to the “how.” Reflecting on three years of enterprise AI adoption, this talk shares hard-won lessons in planning, execution, and distribution. I’ll present an opinionated view on the mandatory steps for Strategic Planning, offering blueprints for project framing that integrate legal, cost, tech stack, and ROI analysis from day one. We’ll then move to Effective Execution, covering how to set up resources, structure teams, and build momentum through events like hackathons and dedicated sprints. Finally, we’ll tackle the most critical challenge: Sustained Adoption. We’ll dissect why seemingly successful projects are abandoned and provide a playbook for winning leadership buy-in with “business worthy” projects, proving that a bottom-up approach, while hard, can be immensely rewarding.
