A Maturity Lifecycle for Organizations Building Analytics Platforms Using dbt
dbt has been taking the analytics world by storm since its inception. It helps organizations scale analytics platforms built on top of cloud-based data warehouses, using modern software development and CI/CD methodology, including the critical piece of an automated testing framework. At Qvest, we have multiple years of experience using and deploying dbt at large clients. In this presentation, we will share a) when we find that organizations experience a need to adopt a tool like dbt and, subsequently, b) the steps that most organizations will take as they move through their analytics journey with dbt.
