Andrei Ilie

Andrei Ilie is an engineering lead at Bolt, managing the Identity Group which consists of cross-functional teams working on in-house verification, communication, and authentication services. His background is in data science and machine learning, previously having researched and implemented state-of-the-art travel time prediction models. He’s been building and scaling up a significant part of Bolt’s Data Science function, having kickstarted and led the Data Science groups working on Bolt Food, Scooters, and Maps problems. Andrei studied for his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Computer Science at the University of Oxford, where he was the valedictorian of his class for both.
