Biography
Marius is a Team Lead in the Data Platform Team, part of the BI&ERP department at eMAG and he has been in the industry for the last 6 years. His passion for tech started in high school and he graduated from the Military Technical Academy, Computer Science, and owns a master’s in Business System Engineering and Management at the University Politechnica of Bucharest.
His career began in the Ministry of Internal Affairs, where rigorous training and challenges have instilled in him a sense of discipline, resilience, and determination. He has learned the true meaning of teamwork, camaraderie, and the importance of relying on each other to achieve shared objectives.
After leaving the Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to follow his passion for big data, his journey led him through diverse industries like finance, consultancy, and retail, where he gained invaluable experience and expertise in various big data technologies.
